Our client brought us to build and manage a community campaign supporting the upcoming release of Disney’s documentary Mija. We created a plan focused on activating and driving awareness of the impact of the stories around the documentary highlighting the humanity of families of immigrants and their different experiences. Our main goal was to bring to the four theaters releases in LA and SF communities made of immigrants providing a genuine, fulfilling moment where they will feel held, connected, and seen via the pre-screening and activation.
In addition, we supported the national influencer activation to drive awareness. We activated over 100 influential community voices we knew would feel connected to the documentary. They could then speak credibly about their experiences, help spread the message, and mobilize others to see it.
